Hiiden Polut Hiking Trails - Hijje Silimukka

The geological trail of Hiijje Silimukka in the nature reserve leads the traveler from a meadow up to the mountain and via one scenic point to another. Along the trail is Neitvuori Hill that offers an amazing view over the Lake Luonteri archipelago. Other notable sights on the route include Hiidenmaa farm and several glacial erratics.

There are two trails belonging to Hijje Silimukka, one 2,6 km long and the 3,9 km long. The trails are rated as being of medium difficulty and may be slippery during rainy weather. The most convenient way to get to the paths is by car, as there is no public transport operating nearby.

Luonteri lakeland area is a natural and cultural site of Saimaa Unesco Geopark.
