The Philharmonia Orchestra’s beloved chamber concert, which has become a tradition, returns once again! The program features works inspired by well-known stories, ranging from Schumann to Mozart’s The Magic Flute and Zorba’s Greek dance. Finnish music is also included, with selections from Jean Sibelius and Esa-Pekka Salonen, who has served as the Philharmonia’s principal conductor.
The 2025 concert will feature not only a string quartet and trio, but also wind instruments and piano chamber music. Arrangements for chamber ensembles have been made by Philharmonia violinist Julian Milone.
