Kiilopää Ski Event X

The Kiilopää Ski Event kicks off the ski season in the northern fell landscapes. In 202, this darkest ski event of the year will be held for the eleventh time.

The Kiilopää Ski Event features distances for both recreational skiers and competitive skiers.

During the Kiilopää Ski Event, the blue twilight of the polar night and the winding cross-country trail through the snowy forest invite fitness skiers to experience a unique skiing adventure. The recreational skiing route is 18 kilometer long and offers a unique opportunity to ski in varied terrain within Urho Kekkonen National Park, mainly outside the regular ski trails. The route is a traditional wilderness trail, groomed by snowmobile and track planer.
