Loimijoki Park

Welcome to relax in the renewed park/beach area in the centre of Huittinen.

The park is located by the river, right next to the city centre. The area has a boat launch, a guest boat dock, a pier, a beach and seating. During the summer there is also a kiosk run by 4H entrepreneurs.

The regeneration of Loimijoie Park started in summer 2019 with the construction of a beach. The beach is better known locally as the VPK beach. The beach received a new swimming platform, changing rooms and furniture. Construction will continue in the coming years, eventually extending to the other side of the Risto Rytin Street bridge.

There are restaurants and shops nearby, and the beach area in the centre of town is easily accessible.
