Art Exhibition: Listening to the Earth Beyond Silence
Indigenous trackers overcame the limits of what can be seen. They put their ears to the ground and listened to the movement of horses or of a herd of animals coming from a distance. The Earth, large and all-welcoming, holds the weight of all our movements, across seas and continents. Can we learn to listen to each other? Do we still have time – and do we give ourselves the time to listen beyond silence?
Listening to the Earth Beyond Silence is an art exhibition that studies and represents different ways in which we can learn from the land that we nurture. The exhibition consists of documentation of different artist communities, collectives and
projects around the world. In their practice, they all combine art with cultural heritage and traditional land cultivation. The exhibition represents methods that are considered alternative in our time, once forgotten ways of farming, seeking for wisdom and hope in this time. Listening to the Earth Beyond Silence is an exhibition curated by The Resurrection Committee collective. Members of the collective are Adelina Luft, Ovidiu Tichindeleanu and Raluca Voinea.
