Riimukivi Historical Farm and Summer Café

Travel back in time to the 1800’s at the idyllic Riimukivi Farmstead.

In the Summer Café you can taste the living history and enjoy traditional delicacies of South Savonia and Lake Saimaa region.

The Café offers sweet and savory pasties, cinnamon rolls, soot pot coffee and a good selection of teas.

Gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options are available. If you are arriving with a large group, please notify us in advance, so we can have everything ready on your arrival, and can account for your dietary preferences!

In the Riimukivi Historical Farm you can also pet the friendly sheep, visit the Craft Shop, and learn about the traditional way of living in a Finnish homestead in the 1800s. The staff, dressed in authentic historical clothing, will be happy to help you explore the farm and the old buildings.

In the Akanvakka Craft Shop you will find gifts and crafts inspired by Nordic nature and folklore.

The Summer Café, Akanvakka Craft Shop and Riimukivi Historical Farm are open during the summer season 24.6.-9.8. TUE-SAT 11:00-18:00. (SUN-MON closed). Check the Riimukivi Event Calendar for dates!

The estate, opened in the summer of 2023, is located along the stunning Lietvesi scenic route and the Green Gold cultural trail.
