Spend a relaxing week in the beautiful landscapes of Koli,

by the diverse hiking trails.

As a shepherd, you'll have the chance to spend time with friendly Finnish sheep and stay in a cozy yurt near a traditional farm.

Enjoy the summer surrounded by the diverse nature.

As a sheep shepherd, you will experience authentic summer vibes in the company of friendly Finnish sheep.

With the sheep, you can stroll through the pastures, and

amazing, diverse forest trails open up right from your accommodation.

Tasks:

As a shepherd, your task is to ensure the sheep always have clean water available, count the sheep daily, and report if any of the sheep are injured, etc. Otherwise, you’ll have plenty of time for hiking, swimming in the nearby forest pond, sauna, and enjoying the summer.

Accommodation:

Accommodation takes place in a yurt, with a double bed. If needed, additional mattresses can be laid on the floor for 1-2 people.

The yurt has a stove to provide extra warmth on cool evenings, and to cook with.

Additionally, you will have access to an outdoor kitchen, an outdoor toilet, an outdoor shower, and a cozy wood-heated sauna in the yard of the traditional farm.

Schedule:

Arrival on Monday and departure on Sunday.

Special arrangements can be made for different schedules.
