Kinkamon pirtti, Seiväslahti - Peace, nature and stories by lake Poskijärvi

Von 120 €

A charming log cabin for two in the heart of nature. Seiväslahti got its name in the early 1900s when flax was soaked in the shallow waters of the bay, tied to stakes. Now, in the same tranquil setting, you can enjoy a leisurely pace, the sounds of nature, and the evening sun on your own patio – even while grilling.

The cabin's interior and building materials have been chosen responsibly, respecting the environment. The cozy 47 m² log cabin for two offers a sauna, shower, toilet, and dressing room. The living room features a fireplace, TV, and CD player. The kitchenette includes a stovetop, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, and cooking and dining utensils. Additionally, the cabin is equipped with a hairdryer, vacuum cleaner, and cleaning supplies. The rental includes blankets and pillows, and bed linens can be reserved in advance. Pets are also welcome at Seiväslahti for an additional fee of €10 per pet.

For active nature lovers, electric mountain bikes, a canoe, and a SUP board are available for rent. The surrounding area offers excellent cycling and hiking trails, as well as destinations suitable for day trips. The forests and lakes invite you to explore.

Nearby attractions include Ähtäri Zoo, where you can see Finnish wildlife such as bears and moose (approx. 1 hour), Petäjävesi Old Church (UNESCO), a beautiful 18th-century wooden church (approx. 45 minutes), the Struve Geodetic Arc (UNESCO), a historical astronomical site, the Serlachius Museums in Mänttä, featuring art and history (approx. 35 minutes), and the sights and architecture of Jyväskylä (approx. 1 hour).

Seiväslahti offers the tranquility of nature and lake views, as well as activities on land and water.
