With a guided tour, you'll get more out of your visit to the Helsinki Biennale and you travel around the island under the guidance of a guide and get to know the works of art along the way. The guide introduces the theme of the Helsinki Biennale, "Protection", and tells about the artists behind the works.

On the tour, you walk around the island and you get to experience not only art but also Vallisaari's versatile nature. As a highlight of the tour, you will get to know the island's most impressive sight, the Aleksanteri battery, whose viewing platform offers wonderful views of the outer archipelago of Helsinki.

Guided tours are organized during the opening hours of the Helsinki Biennale, 8 June - 21 September 2025, Tuesday-Sunday from 11 am to 6 pm.

Instruction languages: Finnish, Swedish, English

Both tours start from Vallisaari port of entry, in front of Luotsitalo and end near Torpedonlahti port of departure (Kuolemanlaakso crossing in front of Jäätelökahvila Paja)

One guided tour can accommodate a maximum of 25–30 people. If the group is larger, several guided tours can be booked for you, depending on availability.
