The Hydro Power Plant Museum of Jyllinkoski

The Jyllinkoski Power Plant Museum is one of the first rural power stations in Finland. The museum is located in the original Jyllinkoski power plant building, which was once an important power plant between 1913 and 1970. Today, the museum tells the story of the history and technological development of power generation in the area.


The museum features a wide-ranging exhibition of the Jyllinkoski power plant's activities in different eras. The exhibition includes old power generation equipment, photographs and documents that shed light on the importance of the area for power generation.
