Trail Riding in the Small, Private Countryside Stables

Horse back riding in the rural country side area in Simo, near Kemi, in the Sea-Lapland area.

With the transport inclusive from Kemi-Tornio or Haparanda area we charge 185 and 1h trail ride in the private forest and private farm fields. No mass tourism around.

We can take maximum 4 at the time, if the riders have experience. If there are only beginners, we take maximum 3 beginners at the time, to guarantee the safety of the ride. Small children under school age are riding either with one of the parents in a large. western saddle, or on a small pony, if they have been riding before. The pony can carry maximum 50 kg rider's weight.

We have two 2 big finnhorses, a mixture breed horse, and american horses, and 1 pony. These activity is all the year round, but during the summer holiday in June and July we may move 2 horses to the Rovaniemi area 150km from our place, so please notice to ask the place driving instructions in case you wish to arrive with your own car.

Riders of all levels welcome. The mixture breed horse is also a therapeutic rider's horse, so if there is any disabled riders, they can ride and share the riding trip with the mixture breed horse by a leader.

Small children and beginners, and therapeutic riders are being leaded for the safety.

In the case you can handle big horses in all the speedy levels such as very fast trot, canter and full gallop speed, you can do the fast speed independently, but the beginners are leaded meanwhile the experienced riders are gallopping.

Notice that we are not doing any refunds, if you wish to cancel or stop the ride suddenly. We have a liability insurance, but in case you need more insurances, please notice to do those insurances in your own country.

We have kept horses in a natural way since more than 40 years, and we keep you always guided and safe. We offer coffee and tea and small snacks to eat after the ride.

We give you the winter wear extra whenever needed, and safety helmets always for the ride.
