The Lapua Art Museum is located in Lapua, within the cultural and business center Vanha Paukku.
The Lapua Art Museum broadly showcases visual arts in its rotating exhibitions, which change three times a year. The exhibitions are shaped by a dialogue between local, national, and international art, with boundaries crossed in many ways. In addition to the changing exhibitions focusing on various themes and subjects, exhibitions from the museum's own collections are also presented.
Architect Onni Tarjanne designed the museum building in the 1920s as a loading facility for the cartridge factory. Later, it served as a hardening plant and a surface treatment facility. Academician Juha Leiviskä redesigned it into a museum building.
